Bene manufactures Tyvek bags for retail brands, outdoor gear companies, cosmetic labels, and corporate gifting programs. Our facility handles soft Tyvek (1473R, 1443R) for washable totes and pouches, and hard Tyvek (1073B, 1085D) for structured shoppers, document holders, and luggage tags.

We work with authentic Tyvek substrate sourced through verified distributors. Material certificates and batch traceability are available on request.

Printing, lamination, cutting, sewing, ultrasonic welding, and hardware assembly are all handled in our own facility, eliminating the coordination gaps common in multi-vendor Tyvek production.

Tyvek Grades and Material Options

Soft Tyvek (Fabric-feel, Washable)

1473R, 1443R, 43 to 75 gsm. Suited for tote bags, pouches, wallets, and garment bags. Becomes softer with use, similar to washed kraft.

Hard Tyvek (Paper-feel, Structured)

1073B, 1085D, 75 to 105 gsm. Holds shape for shopping bags, document holders, luggage tags, and shipping envelopes.

Tyvek is a nonwoven made by DuPont from 100% high-density polyethylene fibers. The smooth surface supports high-resolution printing, which makes it a strong fit for branded retail bags, cosmetic pouches, and outdoor accessories.

What is the difference between soft Tyvek and hard Tyvek?

Soft Tyvek (1473R, 1443R) drapes like fabric and softens with use, ideal for totes, wallets, and pouches. Hard Tyvek (1073B, 1085D) holds structure and is used for shopping bags, document holders, and tags. Bene stocks both families.

Can Tyvek bags be made fully waterproof?

Standard Tyvek is water-resistant but not waterproof at the seams. For waterproof bags such as dry sacks, we use TPU lamination plus ultrasonic-welded or RF-welded seams.
